What Ticipa is
Ticipa is a website where a group keeps track of who has put how much money and how much work into something shared — a flatshare, a trip, a family, a co-op. It answers at https://ticipa.app.
Ticipa is free of charge and is in a closed test run: an account is only created with an invitation code.
No money moves through Ticipa. Ticipa works out who would have to transfer what to whom so that everybody stands at zero; the transfer itself happens elsewhere. There is no payment service in Ticipa, no account numbers and no payment details.

Disclosure under § 25 MedienG
Media owner and publisher: Georg Mayer, «POSTAL ADDRESS — the operator fills this in»
Editorial direction: Ticipa publishes no editorial content. The site describes and runs one tool, for shared expenses and shared work. What members write inside their groups is visible to their group only and is never published.
Liability for links
Ticipa links to no external websites from inside the product. What members write inside a group is visible to other members of that group and is their responsibility.
Still to be confirmed by a lawyer
- Whether a free test run is already an "information society service" under the ECG. This legal notice is kept now as a precaution.
- Whether and from when a trade licence is required.
- Whether the reduced disclosure under § 25 (5) MedienG ("small website") applies.
- Whether a declaration under § 36 of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG) has to be given. While no paid service is offered, none is stated here on purpose.
